Sight Seeing Tours

For those who want to enjoy some sight seeing around New York City and Niagara Falls, we have arranged two conducted tours through an outside tour operator. (Please note that the tour is provided by the operator and not by the Convention Team and we cannot be responsible for any problems encountered. Please use your judgment.)

Here are the details:

New York City Sight Seeing Tour

NYC sight seeing is an 8-9 hrs trip stopping at important locations around New York City.

Departs: Convention Hotel on Sunday (July 25) @ 01:30 PM

Returns: Convention Hotel @ 10:30 PM

Cost: $ 30.00 per person (Approx).

Niagara Falls Tour

Departs: Convention Hotel Monday (July 26): @ 07:00 AM

Return: Convention Hotel or Ramada Newark Airport (To be determined).

Transportation cost: $ 75.00 per person.

At Niagara Falls, Hotel accommodation is available (extra) for $104.00 per room (Double Occupancy, may charge $ 10.00 for additional person).

You can walk to Canada via Rainbow Bridge and explore the Falls from the Canadian side. If you are a US Citizen, please make sure that you bring your US passport with you so you can go to Canada and back. If you are a US Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder), please bring your Indian Passport and the Green Card with you. You do not need a Canadian Visa.

If you are on any other type of visa, then you will require a Canadian Visa to enter Canada. But you can see all the sights from the US side and take the "Mail of the Mist" boat trip that will give a close view of the Falls. The Maid of the Boat trip is highly recommended. Make sure you take that first before doing anything else. Since you are coming to a border crossing, it is a good idea to have your papers with you even if you are not planning to visit Canada.
